eSafeKids is a social enterprise founded by Kayelene Kerr. Kayelene is recognised as one of Western Australia’s most experienced specialist providers of Protective Behaviours, Body Safety, Cyber Safety, Digital Wellness and Pornography education workshops. Kayelene has featured on Australian and international television broadcasts, radio programs and in print media.

Kayelene has dedicated her working life to protecting and serving the community, in both the government and not-for-profit sector.

Passionate about the prevention of child abuse, sexual exploitation and sexual violence Kayelene draws on over 25 years’ experience of study and law enforcement, investigating sexual crimes, including technology facilitated crimes. Kayelene delivers engaging and sought after prevention education workshops to educate, equip and empower children and young people, and to help support parents, carers, educators and other professionals. Kayelene believes protecting children from harm is a shared responsibility and she aims to inspire the trusted adults in children’s lives to tackle sometimes challenging topics. 

Kayelene has travelled extensively throughout Western Australia as a sought after key note speaker and workshop facilitator. Kayelene has presented to international audiences and has delivered keynote addresses and workshops at Education, Child Protection, Health, Family & Domestic Violence and Community Services conferences. Kayelene has also presented to many primary and secondary school students, government and non-government departments and many service providers.

Kayelene is one of the Telethon Kids Institute’s trusted Expert Cyber Educators and is currently working with the institute on a number of ongoing projects. 

Kayelene worked in the not-for-profit sector for 7 years and continues to collaborate with a number of not-for-profit organisations across Australia.
